Step by step
Step 1: Get in touch
Fill in our quote form or call 0141 536 0279. Tell us what you need: electricity, gas, water or a mix.
Step 2: Send us your details
A recent bill is usually enough to get started. It has your MPAN (electricity) or MPRN (gas), your usage and your current rates. If you've just moved in, tell us the address and your move-in date.
Step 3: Sign a Letter of Authority
This lets us speak to your current supplier and get your usage and contract details. It doesn't commit you to anything.
Step 4: We compare prices
We ask the suppliers we work with for prices based on your usage. We set out the options clearly: unit rates, standing charges, contract length and any key terms.
Step 5: You decide
We'll explain the options and answer your questions. We'll also tell you how we're paid. There's no pressure to switch. If your current supplier's offer is the right one, we'll say so.
Step 6: We handle the paperwork
Once you choose, we send the contract for you to sign and deal with the supplier. Read it before you sign. If something isn't clear, ask us.
Step 7: Your new contract goes live
For a renewal or switch, your new contract normally starts when your old one ends. For new premises, we aim to get you on a contract as soon as possible. We'll keep you updated along the way.
Step 8: We keep an eye on your end date
We'll note your end date and get in touch ahead of your next renewal, so you're not caught out. We'll get in touch up to 6 months before your contract ends.
How we're paid
We don't send you an invoice. Instead, the supplier pays us a commission. This is built into the unit rate and/or standing charge you pay under your contract. Full details are on our Fees & Commission page.
